Scarabeo 250ie Denni This one's been personalized, travelled from the Gold Coast to Sydney and back...Twice Brendon Where do we start with Denni? To cut a long story short Denni is a "survivor" a lady who like many others has battled health issues, most of these survivors have a brilliant outlook on life & savour every minute. The Scarabeo 250 is Denni's fourth Scooter purchased to fullfill a dream which is getting out on the highway on two wheels & doing some serious travelling.
We fitted the big black Beo (short for Scarabeo) with a large winsdscreen, top box for touring & sent her on the way. The Scarabeo did its first trip to Sydney in 2008, once back Denni asked for some minor improvements, just a little more up top would be nice so a free flowing GPR slip on muffler was fitted liberating some power saving some weight too, the brakes de linked & some personal visual touches in the form of black wheels with polished edges complete what is one sweet classy looking scooter.
For the second trip the Beo was perfect with that little extra power providing Denni with exactly what was wanted, some would say "Just get the 500cc Scarabeo" which in this case wouldn't be an appropriate scooter as the extra weight & other differences between the 250 & 500 make the bigger capacity Scooter just that little too much to handle for the diminutive Denni. She already tried the 500 and prefered the 250 anyway.
