The Next Step Anthony Part 2 After testing the waters on a budget 125 Anthony wanted something more.. Anthony After becoming addicted to scooters, I realised that someday I’d outgrow my VMoto Monaco 125cc scooter. I wanted something bigger (in capacity), a bike capable of sitting all day at highway speeds, and something that didn’t make me look old – so a Maxi was out of the question. I didn’t want to move over to the dark-side and purchase a motorcycle (not yet anyway......because the budget didn’t allow for a Ducati.
So really there was only one solution. What’s has MotoGP style technology, excellent looks, incredible handling, and brings a smile to your face each time you swing your leg over its perimeter frame.....Of course it had to be the Derbi GP1-250 Racing.
After taking one for a test ride one and then reading all there was to know about this bike, I then threw down a deposit and patiently waited for them to arrive in the country....And so I finally took delivery on the 11th of July last year, and haven’t looked back!
This bike is the ultimate bike for my needs. It’s has twist and go simplicity, it has motorbike features and technology, It’s the ultimate urban fun machine. Whether I’m cruising down the highway to work, zipping around town, or chucking it into the corners on my favourite pieces of road....the GP!-250 is the bike for me.
