Monaco 125 with kick Stew's Blues Being over 6' and over 85kg we advised he forget the 50 class and go to a 125 which he did... With a vengeance Scooter HQ Stewart came to us originally looking for a 50cc scoot. Being over 6' and over 85kg we advised he forget the 50 class and go to a 125 which he did... With a vengeance.
After getting his Monaco and completing the rider training course Stewart immediately had the skills to stay safe. After a period of time to gain some experience and confidence it was time to make the Monaco go. Stewart is an engineer so he did his research and referenced Scooter HQ to make sure he wasn't heading up the garden path.
The parts list consisted of Continental Twist tyres, Variator, drive pulley, Variator weights, clutch & torque springs, High output coil & modified muffler. The whole lot was then tuned by Scooter HQ to ensure it was setup correctly.
Stewart also fitted the "Handling pack" for the Monaco which consists of our "Special Blend" fork oil, synthetic brake fuild and Continental Twist tyres
Stewart is always at our scooter runs and this Monaco is the only 125cc four stroke that has been able to mix it with the Daelim NS 125. published 26/02/2007 |
