I have been riding my Monaco since August last year, as an alternative to taking the Bus. I bought the Monaco for it's larger sized wheels, and bigger engine to handle highway riding. I had to have a black one because black bikes look cool....And therefore I had to have a black helmet to go with it. (I chose a full face helmet to make me feel more like a motorcycle rider....) SHQ says scooter riders are better looking than motorcyclists so we wear open faced helmets, makes the world a little more attractive.....

Now that I live much closer to work (and can walk) I don't ride it every day, but it's great for zipping down to the shops and will quickly get me to work if I don't feel like walking. Plus I try to take it out for a long run each week. It comfortably gets me to where I need to go, and looks great. It's cheap to run, easy to park and I have heaps of fun riding it.

So far it's totally standard, but I think an exhaust upgrade and whatever else I'll need to boost the power and performance a bit will be required one day!
