If you don't want the costs or inconvenience associated with crash repairs simply do not lend you scooter to anyone, if you've done rider training you will know why.
One type of crasher and someone to never lend your scooter to is the "I've ridden one in Bali/Thailand/Pacific Islands/Gold Coast". This is the equivalent of being kissed by a mafia godfather for your scooter. Another situation to avoid is alcohol.
If you follow this its going to eliminate 90% of our crash repair business, but I'm happy with that.
