We have developed the following courses specifically for those seeking to ride an automatic scooter with the help of Ridabike, our Q-ride accredited training partners. Four training courses and one "reward" day are on offer......
2 Hour Course - 50cc Scooters $100.00 - (Ridabike) Group
This course has a maximum of three participants per session ensuring the trainer is able to provide you with quality supervision. Covering bike control, braking, cornering and roadcraft you will finish this with the basics neccessary to start experiencing the joy of scooters. Suitable for those who have ridden bikes in the past, cyclists or those on a budget. A follow up course usually held a month or so later is available to confirm and expand on these basics.
2 Hour Course - 50cc Scooters $150.00 - (Ridabike) One on One
Same as above only this is conducted on on one with the trainer. Suitable for those who have very little or no experience on two wheels or if you feel they may need some extra attention
8 Hour Course - 50cc Scooters $350.00 - (Ridabike)
Again with a maximum of four participants this course is comprehensive covering bike control, braking, emergency braking , collision avoidance, emergency manouvres, cornering, extensive roadcraft and more this course is conducted over two Saturdays in sessions of 4 hours with breaks. Aimed at new scooter riders and those who value safety.
Motor Cycle License up to 250cc (Scooters)
Designed specifically for those who want to ride a scooter that requires a motorcycle license. After you have completed these courses you will be issued with an under 250cc automatic motorcycle license. One of the more time intensive aspects of learning how to ride a motorcycle is mastering the gearbox and clutch. As most scooters are automatic the amount of time it takes to get going is dramatically reduced allowing the new rider to work on riding skills immediately.
This course is conducted under the Q-ride system which is competency based. It may take you longer than quoted, it may take you less. Any additional time will be charged
