The event is to be held on Saturday 15th December at the Ipswich Kart Track, Willowbank Motorsport Precinct, Champions Way, Willowbank.
The track is arguably Australia's premier karting track, being a dedicated race track it has inbuilt safety with plenty of run off. The circuit is physically challenging and technically demanding of the rider and scooter.
The race is open to everyone and is the first event in Australia's first ever scooter racing series.
The rules of each class have been formulated to keep the cost of scooter racing very low while the sport is in its infancy. The event is to cater to the masses.
Scooter Stock 50cc Scooters with restriction devices removed only.
Super Scooter 50cc Scooters with Controlled modifications
Mega Scooter As per Super scooter with Big Bore kits up to 70cc allowed
There are a maximum of three riders allowed per scooter and scooters can now refuel on demand .
Cost
Entry Fee - $275 Per Scooter
Racing License $ 45 Per Rider (Unless you hold a Motorcycling Qld/Aust racing License)
Club Fee $ 65 Per Rider (Unless you are already a member of the Motorcycle Sportsmen of Qld)
